Ginzburg Centennial Conference on Physics
will be held May 29-June 3, 2017 in Moscow


Vitaly Ginzburg, a Nobel Prize winner and full member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, worked at the Theory Department of the Lebedev Physical Institute since 1940, and headed the Department from 1971 till 1988.

His fruitful and versatile scientific achievements have won broad recognition: he was a foreign member of various scientific academies (including the United States National Academy of Sciences and the Royal Society) and a laureate of many scientific awards and prizes.


The Conference will cover a variety of subjects:

Accommodation:
The hotel prices can vary from 6000 to 9000 Rub (Russian Rubles) per night depending on the hotel, or can of course be higher


Participation Fee
The early registration fee (before 1st of March 2017) is expected to be 22,000 Rubles for a participant and 11,000 Rubles for an accompanying person.
The standard registration fee (after 1st of March 2017) is expected to be 28,000 Rubles for a participant and 14,000 Rubles for an accompanying person.
The fee covers conference materials, welcome party, coffee breaks, daily lunches, and other organizational costs. The conference dinner will be charged separately (estimated to be about 3,000 Rubles).
The Organizers got special grant to support the participation of scientists working in Russia


Social Program
The Organizers plan to arrange a Moscow sightseeing tour and a cultural program
